Yes, definitely. Discourse tracks some things (although it’s gains — it doesn’t have a report specifically on people who have left). We’re up quite a bit year over year. (I posted the details in The Lounge (see praiskup/testrelease5) as a kind of easter egg for the site regulars, but it’s not really a secret. Here’s the summary:
Page views from anonymous + logged in users is for the last three months of each year has almost exactly doubled . (And that ratio holds true for both logged in and anonymous).
Signups are up 12%, and new contributors — first posters, not just new accounts — up 6%.
New topics up 40%
Number of posts (that’s topics and replies) up 54% (nice!)
The daily logged-in users to monthly-logged-in users is up slightly — this is a value that we’d expect to be lower than for many sites because of the Q&A nature, so 16% seems good to me even though the guidance is 30%.
Daily Engaged users up 37% — and an average of 10 people a day.
