I recently added a bigger monitor, and now often have to hunt for the mouse cursor.
In the past, I have used xeyes under Xorg to find a cursor. With macOS, shaking the mouse results in a larger cursor that is easy to find. The cursor doesn’t disappear – if I search long enough I can find it, it is just that there is a lot of space to search.
