Mouse cursor size not respected by the mouse settings app

I installed F39 on a system with a 4k monitor. Because of the resolution, I like a large mouse cursor. If I open Settings, Accessibility, Seeing, Cursor Size; I see 5 different options for size.

But no matter what option I choose, the mouse cursor remains the same size on the “Settings” app. It does change in other apps (including the desktop), although the actual size of the cursor in those apps is not exactly the size of the imaged cursor in the Cursor Size window (it’s always a bit smaller).

I don’t see that here. Are you using Wayland or X? What’s your GPU?

OS = Fedora 39 LXQt.

lxqt-config-input also no impact to mouse cursor size.
Default size = 21.
Changing to 48.
At the testing area size changed.But not at app area.
After reboot size = 21.

I’m using Wayland, with an integrated intel GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 630 (CFL GT2).

I also have an nVidia card installed, but I’m not using any of the video outputs from that card, I’m only using the output directly from the motherboard.
