Discover often crashes and needs very long to load
some errors:
Failed to download metadata for lvfs: user agent unsuitable; fwupd version required

This is not a general Discover bug, but an issue with the Firmware update integration (btw this does not exist on GNOME to my knowledge!)
Please open a bug at bugz.fedoraprect.org under the component “plasma-discover” or how it is called. Write “fwupd” in the title.
This may be Fedora specific, or an upstream Plasma bug which you would report on bugs.kde.org
