Touchpad issues

Hi there, I am trying to help a client who has an Acer Aspire (Fedora 38) which works perfectly.THe only issue is with the touch pad which works 99% of the time, just stops reacting to any inputs that are made by the use.Only the left click stops working and rebooting sets everything into place for a few hours or days, until it happens again.
