Touchpad doesn't work until a reboot when I boot my Lenovo T14s

I’ve installed Fedora 36, used to use Manjaro (didn’t have the issue). Sometimes when I boot the touchpad doesn’t seem to load in correctly, it’ll work but it’s not loaded correctly, when I go in to touchpad settings it doesn’t detect it until I reboot. Touchpad works but there’s no acceleration etc, due to it not loading the kernel module I assume…

I was on Kernel 5.17.14 and just upgraded to 5.18.5, the issue still remains.

Anyone got any ideas or what I should be looking for to try debug the issue?

Hey,

is it possible that we have the same problem?

Yeah that sounds very similar, same machine as well.

I also updated my BIOS firmware, which didn’t help.
