Recently my parents replaced their old computer that had Windows 10 with a mini pc, on which I’ve installed Fedora Silverblue.
They had an (old) laser printer from Samsung, model ML-2165, which is recognized by the system. Whenever we try to print something, the system would show a “print successful” notification but nothing will be printed.
I’m looking for any ideas/directions on what could be missing. I’ve only found another post about running a .sh script that didn’t work.
Thank you
Hi Francisco,
same problem with me. Actually with ML-2165 as well on Nobara - thus a fedora…
I found https://support.hp.com/de-de/drivers/closure/samsung-ml-2160-laser-printer-series/17156959 (guess there are other languages as well, but it will work probably any way).
Here, you can download the linux driver for ML-2160 and this in return works with ML-2165 as well. At last in my case.
So: Good luck and have a nice weekend.
Cheers
