Hello,
I am using Fedora Workstation and for some reason when I play a media, any media from any app, this media control appears multiple times in the quick settings panel. I am not sure I am doing something wrong or is this a bug?
I tried to reboot my laptop (ThinkPad X1 2in1 Gen6), log out and back in, disable the extensions. My system and all my apps are up to date. None of them helped.
Can anyone help me out please?
On GNOME, the media control is located by default in the Notifications panel, whereas you have them in the Quick Settings panel. I know you mentioned you’ve tried disabling the extensions, but from the screenshot provided it looks as if (at least some) extensions were still enabled. Do you have an extension maybe which unifies the Notification panel and the Quick Settings panel?
In the Extension app you can disable all extensions, reboot and try to reproduce the issue.
