This happens when i set GlobalScaling to 1.5

Nothing unusual on the panel

What do I wrong?

Does that situation change when you return the scaling to 100%?

I suspect the global scaling may be a factor, especially if one is not using hardware acceleration on the GPU.

When I return the scaling to 100% CPU-load = 0

Is it not enough for scaling to >100% ?
Need super power graphic card?

sadly :frowning:

I am not 100% certain but seem to remember that by default the base install (at least with workstation) only allows scaling of 100% & 200%, with no fractional scaling.
On my system with a fairly high power GPU I can get 100/125/150/175/200% but only when I set it to 4k resolution. That also only works with using hardware acceleration on the GPU. With hardware acceleration disabled the CPU becomes overloaded very quickly.

Since that appears to be an integrated GPU and is also only on the 7th gen processors, then it will always load the CPU when high graphics loads are encountered.

200% also loads the system.

No way out…
I will stay at 100% and will adjust the size of fonts, icons, etc
