Any suggestions welcome

I do not have a Samsung phone but can confirm that Fedora 40 plasma worked with kdeconnect and my google pixel 7a.

First thing I needed to do was pair my phone over bluetooth.
And the second thing was to have my phone use my home wifi.

I start kdeconnect on my desktop first, then use kdeconnect on the phone.

At what step are you seeing the problem?

Both are True

On the same software versions (device and F40) and on a Flip 5, pairing worked.

Hmm, now that is interesting.

KDE Connect on Android can add a device by IP. Can you try that and see if it works?

I did tried both ways, from pc to Ip of phone and from phone to ip of PC.
They are both on the same /23 subnet
