Gnome window-list extension Does Not Display

After I installed Fedora I enabled the window-list extension. While working on another problem I rebooted several times and now I can’t get that extension to display. I’ve tried disable/enable several times and it makes no difference. I’ve even tried reset.

[tomlink@fedora ~]$ gnome-extensions info window-list@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com
window-list@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com
  Name: Window List
Description: Display a window list at the bottom of the screen.
This extension is part of Classic Mode and is officially supported by GNOME. Please do not report bugs using the form below, use GNOME's GitLab instance instead.
  Path: /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/window-list@gnome-shell-extensions.gcampax.github.com
  URL: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell-extensions
  State: INITIALIZED

I have never needed to use that app.
The window list used to be part of the extensions that were managed by gnome-tweaks, but was moved to the gnome-extensions-app package. That happened about the time gnome was upgraded from version 3.8 to 40.0 which was seen when fedora 34 was released.

I suggest that you remove the window-list app you installed and replace it with the gnome-extensions-app. Then by opening up the new extensions app to turn the window list on you should be able to have that bar appear.

gnome-extensions-app worked. Thanks.
