Hi,
Recently updated Fedora to latest releases / patches and now all dock icons have the activity marker below then even when not running.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Fedora 36 (5.19.4-200.fc36.x86_61) Gnome 42.4, Wayland, Lenovo Thinkpad T470s
Thanks
Darren.

Hi @tenjin , welcome to the community.
This is most likely a bug in the extension—they usually lag behind new Gnome releases. What extension are you using for the dock please? Could you share a link?

There was an update yesterday for “dash to dock” did you see and apply?
p.s.
In the settings you have the option to customize windows counter indicators
. You might play around with this to see if it changes something.

type this in terminal:
sudo dnf upgrade gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-dock --enablerepo=updates-testing,updates-testing-modular
or
sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2022-004d41cad7
disable and re-enable the extension
