After using Fedora KDE since 34, I just build a new PC and installed Fedora 40.
Every time I want to shut down, the system restarts, even when typing shutdown in terminal. Only poweroff in terminal will shut down the system.
When logging in, I had to press “enter” twice before I get logged in, but this got resolved (no clue what update ficed it).
What can be wrong in the settings I missed?
Gigabyte AM5 motherboard with ryzen 5 and 2x16Gb ddr5.
How do you try to shutdown the system that does not work?
Its not clear to me what you are doing.
When you run shutdown
the system does a restart?
When you type powerdown
the system does shutdown and turn its power off?
Can you try an other keyboard to eliminate a keyboard issue?
