Fedora 41 KDE Not Shutting Down Properly

I am facing an issue with Fedora 41 KDE where the system does not shut down properly. When I shut down, the monitor turns off, but the PC stays powered on, and the CPU and GPU fans start spinning at high speed. This issue is not present when booting into Windows.

I have tried using previous kernels and ensured everything is fully updated, but the issue persists. ACPI is enabled in the BIOS, and this is a clean installation with no other performance issues.

My PC specs are:

GPU: AMD RX 6600

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600

RAM: 16GB DDR5

Motherboard: ASRock A620M

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to :fedora:

You looking at the previous boots logs after initiating a shutdown and restarting.
something like
journalctl -b -1 --since=-10m
Should get the information from the previous boot.

Thanks
