(F42) cannot record a screencast

hello, i’m on fedora 42 workstation and screencasts do not work anymore

first time i start a screencast it starts the timer for like 4-5 seconds then throws me an error, but anyway it hasn’t recorded anything and won’t record nothing next times

did a fresh install when the F42 beta was out and in F42 was never able to record anything, but i had no problems at all with F41

any hint/suggestion?

Did you do that?
sudo dnf group install multimedia Music and Video Codecs

With recording you are refer to the screen capture tool on the top right corner?

the one that you get when you press the print key and then record screen (which is the same as the capture tool on the top right corner menu)
