So many issues after updating to 42

Today I updated to fedora 42 and am having issues with so many bugs.

• First my microphone is not working, I can’t for the life of me get any mic working on my machine.
• Also, all of the menus are completely borked using my current theme.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• I’ve also been using GPU screen recorder for a long time now, and it no longer works, anytime I try to screen record it fails.

It’s been less than an hour and these are the bugs I’ve found so far, I’m sure that I will find more. Is there any way to rollback to 41? How do I resolve these issues? I’m fairly new to Linux, only been using it for about a year

Are you sure your theme is updated to Fedora’s or GNOME’s version you are on?

Lol, as I’m pretty new to linux, I don’t know how to grab logs

You can start examining information in that app.

It looks like you’re using custom GTK / GNOME Shell themes? Most of the rendering issues I see on your screenshots look like they might be caused by themes that are not compatible with GNOME 49. Can you try reverting to the default themes (Adwaita) to check if the issues are related to that or not?
