Dual booting Workstation and Silverblue

I’d like to evaluate how Silverblue runs on my machine’s hardware to gauge whether I’d want to switch over from Workstation. When I install in dual boot I get this error:

The following error occurred while installing the payload. This is a fatal error and installation will be aborted.

The command ‘ostree admin --sysroot=/mnt/sysimage deploy --os=fedora fedora:fedora/41/x86_64/silverblue’ exited with the code 1.

Apparently it’s an EFI-related issue, possibly having to do with the fact that a fedora folder is already present on the partition. What’d be the best solution to enable dual boot here?

Apparently Fedora doesn’t support dual booting with another edition of Fedora. There are further limitations with dual booting atomic version of Fedora, irrespective of the other OS.

The easiest approach is to install the two Fedora OSs on two separate disks. One of them can be an external SSD.
