Dualbooting Windows and Silverblue

Hello, I am keep getting errors while trying to install Silverblue. Once I select the automatic paritioning and continue, I get this error in a pop-up:

The following error occured while installing the payload. This is a fatal error and installation will be aborted.

The command ‘ostree admin --sysroot=/mntsysimage deploy – os=fedora fedora:fedora/41/x86_64/silverblue’ exited with the following code:1.

I tried to follow the workaround from this discussion:

-But I can’t even bring the Shell up on the screen. Ctrl+Alt+F1 doesn’t work.-

However, when I test the installation USB on another empty device, it works perfect. I’m guessing this just happens because I am trying to dual boot, but I just have no choice. There’s just some software that refuses to run on Linux.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT1: I entered the shell by pressing Ctrl+Fn+Alt+F1. From here I could execute the commands but the /boot directory seems to be missing. Command ls /boot shows nothing. I don’t know what to do now.

Does this help?

What do you mean by installing silverblue after installing fedora? To my knowledge, isn’t two just different OS, thus I have to reclaim the space by deleting the Fedora workstation partition?

I haven’t encountered the issue myself, but the comments in the bug report suggest that it would be a fix to first install Fedora Workstation, then install Fedora Silverblue in place of it (not alongside).

I tried it but it doesn’t seem to work. I am keep getting the same fatal error messages. I think I should just wipe the whole disk and install Silverblue first, and install Windows second.
