I was wondering if Fedora Chat can be used by any Matrix client; if so, how can I log in with my Fedora Account?

It can be used with any matrix client that supports single sign on.
Many of them do.

Do I have to first perform a first access from browser to associate the Fedora account in Matrix? Or does it go automatically?
no, shouldn’t need to as long as you have a fedora account already.
Most clients you can just enter chat.fedoraproject.org as the server and
it will detect the single sign on, etc…
