I plan to use Vorta for my backups and need to know which folders to backup and restore to get a fresh system back up and running like the original system.
(do note that I plan to use Distrobox for apps that aren’t available as flatpak)
I’m guessing silverblue should be easier to backup than normal distro’s?
Mainly /var is where things get mounted, but here is the full list:
So if I backup /var
Destroy the install.
Reinstall.
Restore that backup to /var
I’m back up and running? without losing any program configs?
Probably want to back up your home directory as well, right?
And then if you modify any system configuration files, then they would need backup.
Backing up /var on silverblue does back up the home directory. (/var/home/)
