Unable to load VPN connection editor (vpnc)

Adding a Cisco Compatible VPN (vpnc) configuration in the Network Manager fails in the detailed options with the error: unable to load VPN connection editor.

But all the other vpn connection types are loading without problem.

$ rpm -qa|grep vpnc
vpnc-script-20230907-5.git5b9e7e4c.fc42.noarch
vpnc-0.5.3-48.svn550.fc41.aarch64
NetworkManager-vpnc-1.4.0-2.fc42.aarch64

It is a known NetworkManager-vpnc 1.4.0 upstream bug, see:

and is waiting for the following merge request to fix it:

• https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-vpnc/-/merge_requests/18
