UEFI boot

I just installed F38 on a few year old computer (using the network installer).
The BIOS on this machine can boot either UEFI or MBR.
Linux installed as MBR and did not show an option to do UEFI.
How does one specify the boot type when installing?

Using the machines boot menu, select the UEFI bootable version of the fedora media.

Or to make the system always use uefi boot one may go into the bios setup and select uefi only – disabling CSM/Legacy boot.
