ThinkPad T590 no mouse buttons or trackpoint after suspend

,

Hello Fedora forums,
I have one small issue with my Thinkpad T590. Everything runs well as far as I can tell, but when the laptop goes to sleep and wakes back up, the trackpoint and mousebuttons stop working.
I would really like the buttons to work.
I use Fedora 42 on the KDE Plasma spin.

Thank you.

Same issue on a Thinkpad t14 gen 1 AMD.
Seems to be a kwin-related issue. Tried reloading kernel modules involved in input handling and setting synaptics_intertouch=0 for the psmouse module, but that didn’t help. The only thing that helps other than rebooting is kwin_wayland --replace. But that also kills most non-KDE-native apps.
