Magic mouse not working properly after suspend

Since a few days, my Apple Magic mouse doesn’t work properly anymore after my desktop wakes-up from suspend. That is:

  • middle click requires a double click to work.
  • the scrolling doesn’t work at all (vertical and horizontal).

If I reboot my system, the mouse works again normally as usual. After a suspend, it doesn’t, as described above.

My system is fully updated: Fedora Linux Workstation, Kernel 6.8.6-200.fc39.x86_64, Gnome 45.5, Wayland.

Hi, I have a very similar issue: suddenly (ie: after a very recent update) my Magic Trackpad integration got broken, in that the pointer stops being moved by the trackpad after a desktop suspension: click remains the only working thing… pretty useless.
Not even Bluetooth disconnect → connect does any good: only rebooting fixes (until next suspension).
Very annoying.

Same issue with a Magic Mouse here. Very annoying. However, instead of rebooting try to restart bluetooth via terminal, then in my case the mouse functions correctly for a very short time until the next suspend…

The latest dnf update has just fixed the issue, with one of those packages: bluez-5.75-1.fc39.x86_64, libgusb-0.4.9-1.fc39.x86_64.

I agree, the update to the newest bluez package fixed my problem FYI: it is included in F40.
