Hello,
I’m using the following system with a Synaptics touchpad:
Operating System: Fedora Linux 37
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.105.0
Qt Version: 5.15.9
Kernel Version: 6.4.4-100.fc37.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz
Memory: 15.4 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 620
Manufacturer: HP
Product Name: HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ac0XX
I cannot get the touchpad to disable while typing. I go to System Settings → Input Devices → Touchpad and select “Disable while typing”. It doesn’t work.
I’ve read about using libinput with Wayland to get a Synaptic trackpad working properly but haven’t found any specifics about configuring with Fedora/KDE. Anybody else have issues with this and find a solution? I’ve tried searching here on the forums but have not found anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.
