SOF (Sound Open Firmware) tuning or equalizer apps or profiles

I have a new laptop that has a newer audio chip than my other systems. It’s a SOF based chip and I noticed that all sorts of tuning capabilities are exposed to ALSA. Are there any applications besides alsamixer that provide tuning or the capability of assigning profiles for different audio scenarios? I’m looking for SOF specific tuning. “Old” Intel HDA based audio didn’t provide these settings AFAIK.

In my brief search I only found “sof-ctl” provided by the SOF group itself. I haven’t tried it yet.

Are you on fedora 42? or what distro are you running because Pulsewire should be default with pipewire. EasyEffects works great. i foound soft-ctl really difficult to use.

Fedora 43. Easy Effects looks interesting. The community profiles and Gnome extension look like a winner. Thanks for the suggestion.

It appears to do all audio processing in-app. I was interested if any app had tuned the audio driver itself, but maybe not yet. It’s also a little on the “large” size at ~100 MB for of its dependencies.
