Hi,
Title says it all. This occurs during the install process. I have drive encryption selected with no manual edits to partitions.
The error reads:
Bootloader installation has failed: Failed to set new efi boot target.
An option to install without a bootloader is then presented. On next boot, the system goes immediately to GRUB recovery.
Any assistance is very much appreciated : )

This seems similar to this issue:
If confirmed, you could post a comment with your configuration on the bug report mentioned in the other thread.
Is it working without disk encryption?

Thanks for the related thread,
I haven’t tried without LUKS. I’ll follow the thread regarding the Framework and see if anyone comes up with anything.

This is something different. It looks like efibootmgr
can not set the installed GRUB as the boot target. Is this MacBook an Intel EFI system?
Can you try installing Fedora 40 and then updating?

It is indeed an Intel x86 Macbook, so I assume it uses an Intel EFI system.
I’ll give 40 + the upgrade a shot. Thanks

Installing 40 and then upgrading to 41 worked flawlessly. Thanks!
