Hello,
Switched from cachyos to Fedora. I installed steam using this documentation: Steam Installation :: Fedora Docs. After that I installed ProtonUp-QT and added my storages with the already existing steam libraries from my former installation in steam. Like on Windows everything went fine. Steam recognized my installed games and added them. Games run without a problem. Then I installed Protontricks but when I try to start it I get this error:
Protontricks was closed due to the following error:
Found no games. You need to launch a game at least once before Protontricks can find it.

Couldn't find custom shortcuts. Maybe none have been created yet?
Already launched some games so Found no games. You need to launch a game at least once before Protontricks can find it. isn’t the problem. Maybe the problem is that the Steam Libraries were created on another Distro? On my former Distro (CachyOS) I just had to run one command to install a package with everything I need for gaming. In this package was also wine and winetricks included. Havent installed wine or winetricks on fedora yet. Are those two packages needed for protontricks?
Thanks in advance.
edit1
Stumbled upon the nature of flatpaks and their sandbox restrictions. My protontricks install is a flatpak. Gonna try to figure out how to install a non flatpak of protontricks and see if that works.

the flatpak sandbox was the problem. Installed the “normal” package and now it works.
