Continuing from F40 Change Proposal: Removing OpenSSL 1.1 package (System-Wide)…

Was trying to play RuneScape today on F40 and ran into libcrypto.so.1.1 missing. On F39 I installed openssl1.1.

I’m not expecting the OpenSSL version on that game being updated anytime soon since it hasn’t been yet, and I suspect I’m probably the only person trying to run RS on F40 natively :stuck_out_tongue: (most people use a Flatpak)

You might want to save the openssl 1.1 source rpm so you can build it in the future. Or use the flatpak.
