Pipewire does not detect apps on Fedora 42

Recently after update my pipewire stopped detecting any apps with sounds. I can hear YouTube and Google Meet, but anything but that is not detected at all.
Sorry if there is not enough details. It is my first question.

Welcome to the forum Ivan.

Sometimes with Pipewire or Wireplumber (the audio services in Fedora Linux), restarting them with systemctl --user restart pipewire.service and systemctl --user restart wireplumber.service is necessary.

If that doesn’t work (or even if it does really), you should probably report the problem on the issue tracker for the Wireplumber service. The issue tracker is here: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/wireplumber/-/issues

The people who monitor that Wireplumber issue tracker will probably have a better idea about what is going wrong.

HTH.

Thank you, but I already have tried this a few times. Anyways going to check it

FWIW, You can try using something like Helvum to get a visual graph of how things are “wired” (connected). sudo dnf install helvum should work to install it.

Cool thing, definitely useful in diagnosing pipewire.
