Does anyone else have problems with Octave running excruciatingly slowly on KDE? It runs fine for me when I’m just using the command window, but if I need to save or open a file, opening the file dialog and loading the list of files takes about 2-3 minutes, and Octave is completely unresponsive while that’s happening. Just opening a new script took about 15-20 seconds when it should be on the order of milliseconds. I’ve experienced this across multiple computers.
