What does the ‘pin’ feature in nemo actually do? Searching for nemo and pin get’s non-relevant results and clicking on Help / All topics is not very helpful.
Pinned items are shown at the top of the file list in that folder, above all other items, no matter how you sort the rest (by name, date, type, etc.).
