Hi CommOps team!
When writing a blog post on community blog, there used to be an option for images to ‘expand on click’. We cannot see that option anymore. Has it been removed or moved somewhere else?

Hi @lenkaseg , apologies for the lag. This topic got moved around a bit and I missed the notification
In the editor roundtable today, we tried to understand what might have changed. There were some WordPress upgrades done recently. We were not sure if this was functionality provided by core WordPress or if it was behavior by a plugin. Do you have an example of a post where you know this once worked? We were trying to figure out if has impacted all posts, or only posts published recently.
We looked at this post and did not see the expand option. If you have an example of a post where you remember it once working, that would be helpful to see if we troubleshoot this further.
This is a weekly report from the I&R (Infrastructure & Release Engineering) Team. It also contains updates for CPE (Community Platform Engineering) Team as the CPE initiatives are in most cases tied to I&R work. We provide you both...

Hi @jflory7 , thanks for looking at it.
The older posts have that functionality, for example here: Infra & RelEng Update - Week 12 2024 – Fedora Community Blog
(and any before that)

Hi @jflory7 , any update on this?
Seems it’s a known issue reported on several locations.
From what I read it might be resolved by turning off the Jetpack carousel option.

### Description
This purpose is related to this WordPress issue thread:
http… s://wordpress.org/support/topic/enlarge-in-click-ko-bug/
Since the last release of WordPress (6.5.2 for my case) the functionality that allows to **“Expand on click“** (“Enlarge on click“) an image is not working.
Since version 6.5.2 of WordPress editor, instead of having the option “Expand on click“ within the bloc settings, it is suggested within the associated link. It does not work when you click on the image as visiting the site. It only shows the small image instead of enlarging it.
AND… another point is: You must update all pages having this kind of setting if you want the click working.
If not, nothing happen when you click on the image.
**Wordpress “Expand on click“ / “Enlarge on click“ new setting:**

**With WordPress 6.4** the “Enlarge on click“ function was perfectly working as it was set within the Bloc settings panel lie this:

### Step-by-step reproduction instructions

2. Click on the small image associated with the **“A ne pas manquer En avril“** topic
3. The image is shown as it is, instead of being expanded to its original size
