Matrix of desktops

Already have horizontal scrolling, horizontally positioned desktops,

Now I want Matrix and vertical sections too. Why? : well why not, also i have multiple work benches and need faster way to switch between workbenches.

How it should feel : well specific, as this is ‘obtuse and obscure’ feature, only meant for high levels of multiworkers. open the drawer and do ‘shift + vertical scrolling’ and switch from my browsing workbench to PDF editing workbench. Reducing travel, as this would be faster.

PS: as you will read discussions, this is reposted here, Matrix of desktops - Platform - GNOME Discourse

Demanding something in this forum is counterproductive since this is not where decisions are made. Asking for some changes is a better approach. For myself, I personally would tend to tune out any demands but would consider a reasonable request.

I believe it would be optimal to change the title of this topic and remove the Feature Demand! from that.

Discussion of what you would like to see and suggestions on how to contact the proper developers for consideration of your request may be what you would find here.

This is something you should cover with Gnome team, as Fedora runs a vanilla Gnome shell.

Also, you might want to look into the shortcuts, Super+PgUp for navigation Super+2 to jump to a particular workspace.

Here are some helpful one on navigation :

I found it really slick to spawn apps and move around with the shortcuts. Hope you find a comfy solution.
