Before I file a bug, I thought I’d check to see if anyone is experiencing the same problems with KDEConnect in the last month, and if anyone has a solution.
I have been doing some internet research but I’ve found nothing except lots of people saying that they’ve had the same problem. Many of those posts are a few years old so I thought I’d check here as both the OS and mobile phone OS versions I have are more recent than the ones listed on the various online forums (various Linux distro forums, KDE forum, GrapheneOS forums)…
These past few days, KDEConnect stopped working. It does not even find a device on my local network when I do a
“Refresh.”
This has been happening periodically in the past 18 months since I started using it. But I could get it to discover and list devices by rebooting my Fedora (first 41 and now 42) desktop.
In the past few days, nothing works, not rebooting my desktop, not rebooting my mobile phone (Google Pixel 7a running GrapheneOS).
If anyone has had the same problem lately and discovered a solution, please post here…
