KDE update policy

Hello everyone,

I’m a new user of Fedora (F31 KDE), coming from openSUSE. Switched because the Fedora project+community looks more vivid, and also because it provides a middle ground between openSUSE Tumbleweed (moving too fast) and openSUSE Leap (a bit old).

I would like to have a question regarding the update policy on KDE.
I found this page: SIGs/KDE/Update policy - Fedora Project Wiki, but it looks very outdated, and I would like to confirm the latest status of it.

Currently F31 has plasma 5.16.5, is there any chance that we get upgraded (sooner or later) to 5.17+ during these 6 months? Plasma 5.17 fixes some important stuff that I would prefer to use.

Thank you.

Nobody knows?

Hello @vatta, yes, the Fedora Wiki is very outdated in some parts.
I would advice to contact the KDE SIG (Special Interest Group) directly, in the IRC channel or on the mailing list: KDE - Fedora Project Wiki

I can confirm the policy wiki page referenced,
SIGs/KDE/Update policy - Fedora Project Wiki
Is still largely accurate, including reflecting on the rationale behind the policy
