right. i thought when i logged in gui, i chose Wayland but this shows X11.
am i reading it wrong or doing it wrong? its a fresh install 2 days ago.
apparently, sddm defaults to x11. that’s the problem. anyone using autologin don’t forget this.
You can go to the Settings then go to Startup and Shutdown, Login Screen (SDDM), click on the Behavior tab then you can go to the Automatically Login section go to the with session drop down and click on Wayland and click Apply, and it will use Wayland as default.
