I have an application that I need to install that for some reason the install isn’t working on XWayland. I get an “X I/O error”. So my thought was to try to install it from native X11. I have plasma x11 installed but when I try to select from GDM or SDDM to enter my userid and password the screen just refreshes and returns to the login without logging in. How do I get around this? Thank you.

Thanks, I have both of those installed. It’s weird, if I try to login from GDM or SDDM it just returns to the login prompt. I was able to use vnc to login however. I was correct about the warsaw application (a security app to login bank accounts used in South America). You can’t install it at all on wayland. You need to install it on a X11 system, which is just a bit bizarre, but whatever.
