Image Viewer and gnome photos both work with small JPG pictures. When they are over a few megabytes, eventually they will cause the system to go into a loop. It seems to me that I have missed some setting that will allow these programs to work with larger files (My cameras are 12 and 24 megapixels.) I have attempted to get a crash dump and have the ABRT system create a bug report. I have SSH’d into the system before it goes into a loop, but after the loop, the SSH session is locked up also and prevents me from doing a kill. If I have missed a setting, I hope someone can help me. If not, any ideas on getting a crash dump to create a bug report? Thanks. BTW, this occurs on both Fedora 30 and 31 for Image Viewer, it works better for gnome-photos on Fedora 31.
