AppImage font size

Hello, I using Fedora 31 with cinnamon on 4k monitor. I use font scaling. I like use XnViewMP but do not install normal way I must use AppImage. But font is small. I use .Xresources to change size cursor in QT app but I do not know how chnage size font in menu etc.

I Occasionally moving users from Windows 10 to Linux. But there is a user used to it and I like it too, that the image viewer displays images from all subfolders. Which no Linux image viewer can handle. Or I don’t understand how to set it up. Is there an alternative? I think only XnViewMP can do it.

Thank you for the tip. In Digikam, it looks very good. I overlooked the possibility of displaying subfolders. Don’t know how to speed up the loading of thumbnails? With XnViewMP, they load in seconds. In Digikam they load almost an hour and are only 31%.

I’ve no idea, honestly.  But your can try shotwell, then.  If this will not fly too, we probably will need to return to XnViewMP ; )

Shotwell loaded a near one hundred photos in seconds (i’ve HDD).  It showed a tags (in which year photo was taken), and the Open Street map in the left-bottom corner with a tags for locations of the photos.

Also it has support for sub-folders and a folder-based view.  The Gnome project has created this software.

I think it likely that the first time you open a folder in digicam it has to create the thumbnails. After that they open very quickly.

joke:  This is so good that sha1sum and a such aren’t make a thumbnails yet :wink:

To get XnViewMP (the standard package - not the AppImage) working under Fedora 31 Cinnamon (and probably other desktop environments), do the following:
Change directory to XnView/lib
ln -s /usr/lib64/libbz2.so.1 libbz2.so.1.0
rm libfreetype.so.6
