is there anyone also has problems like me? on chromium based browser, grok login cannot be used with TOKEN (google or X or etc). only with username and password works
on Firefox, token login can be used for grok
this only happens on my Fedora
Yeah, running into the same thing on Fedora. After some digging I’m pretty sure it’s the third-party cookie stuff — Chrome and other Chromium browsers block the Google/X sign-in popup, while Firefox still lets it through. Email + password works because it doesn’t go through that popup at all.
What helped me: going to chrome://settings/cookies and adding accounts.google.com and x.com as “Allowed” sites for third-party cookies. Not perfect, but the Google login actually goes through now.
i already add them but, seems not perfect. weird thing (even before adding third party) is i can log into reddit, x, etc using google token (or any token) but not grok.
