Graphic monitor driver isn't working after recent system update

Hi, so I created this account just now to report that I am currently experiencing issues with my graphic monitor after recently updating the system.

If you must know, the graphic monitor I use is a VEIKK VK1200, I have the driver installed for it, it’s been working pretty well for a while only until one of the recent system updates. This issue doesn’t occur on Pop_OS!, and it’s only been like that on Fedora for about a day now as of me posting this.

Here’s a clip of what’s been happening recently.

To summarize it - it isn’t picking up on the pen. I tried reinstalling the drivers, calibrating the thing only for it to still not respond, and the only way I could get that to work again is plugging the USB cable for the tablet out and back in - and as you could see, it only works for, like, a few seconds, before it decides to go “bye-bye”. It’s been already driving me crazy.

I am not sure what exactly to make of this, but if anyone else who recently faced this issue and already knows how to get around that problem, I’d be more than grateful for your assistance.

P.S. For additional reference, my kernel version is 6.10.6-200.fc40.x86_64

Hi, I just thought I’d write an update to this oddball situation, even though it appears that no one else had the same problem that I did - which was kind of terrifying…?!

But I have this issue taken care of by just reinstalling the whole operating system, and the driver started working again. It’s not ideal, but since it appears that it happened to me alone, there wasn’t much else I could do.

Now, upgrading to Fedora 41 after reinstalling F40, the issue didn’t return, cos I assume that something was fixed…? But I probably will never know what even that was to have caused that issue I had with my tablet. That was actually pretty weird.
