Hi, the icon of the google chrome is duplicated.
I see you have one icon on your desktop and one in the panel (if it is called a panel). Is that a problem? I don’t know the Gnome desktop but can’t you just remove one of them?

is dock, not panel.
Actually on the gnome desktop that row of icons across the bottom is called the dash. With the default config adding an app from the applications menu to the dash also removes it from the app menu.
If you are using a different app to manage that (and calling it a dock implies such) then the standard process may not work as expected.
