Article Summary: Describe how to install and use the new Fedora WSL images
Article Description: This article would introduce the Fedora 42 WSL images. It would provide a brief description of what WSL is and how it works, and then cover how to install Fedora’s WSL images. After that, it would go through the first-time setup and take a tour of the available features.
I would also be happy to write this article if it is accepted.
This might be something that would be better for a Quick Doc. Fedora Magazine is meant to promote the use of Fedora Linux. I think this article would mostly be about how to operate Windows.
I get that WSL is a “stepping stone” for users who are too timid to actually install Fedora Linux, but I think we want to promote that people really run Fedora Linux on real hardware. I’m not sure how happy the developers will be about troubleshooting a lot of issues people may have with getting Fedora Linux to run “under” Windows (MS is quite capable of changing things in breaking way(s) for Fedora Linux in a moments notice.) People should try to get away from depending on Windows. But that’s just my opinion. People can try to persuade me. 
I completely understand, if it doesn’t align with the magazine’s target topic that’s okay.
I won’t try particularly hard to persuade you, other than to say the article could conclude with pointers to Fedora Workstation and Server and hearty encouragement to check them out
