Gauging Interest in a Pantheon Spin and / or a Pantheon SIG

Over the past few months, I have received multiple messages from happy “Pantheon on Fedora” users who would be interested in having a dedicated Pantheon Spin and / or a formal Fedora SIG for Pantheon. Until recently, the project was just me alone, and I didn’t really have time to do more than maintain the packages, but with more people involved, I think we could actually pull off making a decent Pantheon Spin.

To give some context: The current state of Pantheon on Fedora is pretty good, with only minor pieces missing. All Pantheon DE components have official packages in the Fedora repositories, most first-party elementary OS applications are packaged as well, and only minor components are missing entirely - some are very new and have not shipped with stable elementary OS yet either, but most missing ones lack rigorous testing and/or have unresolved incompatibilities wrt. ubuntu vs. fedora. The only really troublesome components are the window manager (gala) and lightdm greeter, since they link to mutter, which bumps ABI and heavily changes API with every new version, and adapting them is an uphill battle for every Fedora release …
