Option:

 -f, --full-screen                                  Open in full screen

gnome-boxes -f

  1. Via terminal:
  • gnome-boxes -f

  • Select your OS and you’re in full-screen
  1. Via GUI
  • Click here → 2019-05-07_19-49
  • select your OS
  • at the bottom, Select Open in a new windows and your’re in full screen

when resolution get expanded all things become smaller!

If you install the Spice guest tools, the resolution should be automatically changed when you resize the Boxes window. According to this page, for Kali Linux, that package can be installed with apt-get install spice-vdagent.
