Flatpak - Remote "fedora" not found

This is on a Silverblue system.

When I run flatpak update I see an error for each app installed from the Fedora remote, for example:

Unable to update app/org.gimp.GIMP/x86_64/stable: Remote "fedora" not found

There are AFAICT 28 Flatpacks installed from that source.

GNU Image Manipulation Program	org.gimp.GIMP	2.10.36	stable	fedora	system

The software application has fedora sources enabled but shows 0 applications as having been installed from there.

Does anyone know what’s going on?

Hello @gvurrdon ,
I use Gimp as a flatpak from the fedora remote and it is up to date as per flatpak update. This is the output I have for the details of my remotes configured …

[jakfrost ~]$ flatpak remotes -d

I would guess you are having difficulty with connection to the remotes, from my local I can connect and there are no updates reported for flatpaks.
Edit: I do have a pending system update I will perform and try again to see if there is an issue with flatpak after that.

Thanks. I didn’t think to check remotes -d and only these are configured, which doesn’t match the Software application:

I did update/reboot this morning, on:

● fedora:fedora/39/x86_64/silverblue
                  Version: 39.20240307.0 (2024-03-07T00:36:27Z)

So I just did my update and now I have no mouse pointer. Also, it appears yo do not have the fedora remotes setup.

I believe it is flatpak remote-add fedora oci+https://registry.fedoraproject.org but you may only need the registry.fedoraporject.org for the url.

Strange that your pointer should vanish - I hope a fix can be found.
Adding registry.fedoraproject.org now causes the correct number of packages to appear in the software app:
