kernel-6.1.13-200.fc37.x86_64 or any kernal with kernel-6.1 above.

i am only able to boot through kernel-6.0.7-301.fc37.x86_64 only.

There are a number of similar reports — https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/fedora-37-hanging-with-reboot-after-updating-to-6-1-7-200-fc37-x86-64/75131 and https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/issues-with-updating-to-kernels-6-1-5-6-1-6-6-1-7/71273, for example. Do any of those seem related?

Could you provide more information about your hardware, please?

i5 8gen 8gb ram 512 ssd realtek wifi card. anything else?

Realtek Wi-Fi card rtw88_8723de. 4GB RAM.

Hardware issue … generic kernel compile options doesn’t cover certain things as 6.1 is an LTS release : https://news.itsfoss.com/linux-kernel-6-1-is-now-an-lts-version/, Gentoo moving to 6.1.12, no issue. File a bug giving ‘lspci’ and ‘cat /proc/cpuinfo’ with information here : https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/howto-file-a-bug/.

Simple suggestion …
