Fedora Linux 36 boot error

Error: …/…/grub-core/fshelp.c:257:file`/initramfs-6.0.11-200.fc36.x86_64.img’not found

Why is that and how to resolve.
Asking me to press any key to continue…
But no reaction to any key or key combination.

Hi @zsuzsa , welcome to the community.

Is this after an upgrade? Did the upgrade finish successfully?

In the meantime, can you please try booting into an older kernel—you should have three of them listed.

Hi Ankur,

Thank you for a prompt answer.

No, it wasn’t an update, I just turned my laptop on.

“In the meantime, can you please try booting into an older kernel”
THIS i have no clue how to do and what to do for

“—you should have three of them listed”
There is no list of anything at all unfortunately.

OK, cool. When you boot your system, try tapping the Escape key while its booting. I think the “grub menu” is hidden by default, but if you hit a key, you should be able to see it.

Is there a solution? I have the same problem…

Exactly what problem?
grub menu not showing?
error on boot?
Fedora 36? or 37?

Please be specific about the problem you have and I suggest you open a new thread with details about what is happening for your problem.

The original post was about a problem with kernel 6.0.11 and fedora is now at kernel 6.1.9.
