Another idea to have more consistency is if we are going to have separate repository for badge yaml definitions, it’s for the best to create a testing pipeline for that repository. This way we can be absolutely sure that created/edited yaml definitions works flawlessly with the current version of fedbadges.
Same goes for the fedbadges repository too. We can create a pipeline stage that checks the latest changes in the fedbadges project doesn’t introduce a breaking change with current yaml definitions we have.
As far as i know this kind of cross-project changes can be tested with Zuul CI, and the good thing is we are already using it on another projects like Anitya
